Position: Cloud/AWS Architect
Location: Plano, TX

Type I: 3+ Months CTH 
Type II: Permanent role FTE 

Amazon Web Services knowledge with 2+ years’ experience, specifically Cloud Formation templates
Operations background with ITIL Service Management preferred
Monitoring setup, configuration, and reporting preferred (i.e. SiteScope)
Linux Systems Administration experience preferred
Security Administration, specifically Active Directory and Federation (i.e. Siteminder) recommended
Transportation Airlines Passenger knowledge recommended
Networking knowledge recommended
Service Oriented Architecture recommended (i.e. Web, Messaging, Services, DB)
Communication / teamwork / best shore / virtual team collaboration preferred
Strong knowledge of application architecture in .Net / IIS
Knowledge of Linux support commands
Able to build and configure AWS templates for new server builds / scaling (AWS cloud formation templates)
Demonstrate knowledge of deploying and configuring infrastructure connectivity with SSL / TLS encryption
Knowledge of application security (ideally federated security on SiteMinder so we can bring that support back in house – that is not a requirement, just nice to have)
Application support experience / willing to be on-call as needed (in rotation)
Hands-on experience, not just an understanding of the concepts; certified with experience
Flexible work approach (we will ask them to do things we don’t know we will ask them to do at this point)
Mentally curious (once sees a problem, wants to solve it, ideally won’t drop it until it is figured
