Title: SQL Developer/Analyst
Duration: 36+month’s contract
Location : Madison,WI
GC OR GC-EAD OR US Citizens are Required for this Role
Description:
Duties
include: dashboard development and testing, identification and
implementation of design standards, requirements gathering for
dashboards and reports, dashboard development including development of
core semantic layer objects. You will create, maintain and utilize a
comprehensive test plan and test cases, coordinate testing and quality
assurance activities, and create project documentation as necessary
including technical documentation related to the dashboard.
Dashboard Analysis/Development 5+ years.
Non
Local willing to travel/relo -- Dashboard Analysis/Development 8+
years. Preference given to candiates with Education or State Government
experience
Data Warehouse -- Requirements Gathering
Experience
with dashboard tools, reporting tools, and/or analytical tools
including use/development of a semantic layers and metadata repositories
Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Star/Snowflake dimensional data models
SKILLS - MAJORITY REQUIRED:
SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012
Database -- Oracle
SQL
Reporting and Business Intelligence tools (ie Oracle BI, Microsoft BI, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Business Objects)
Excellent organization, analytical, and communication skills
Experience in SQL Server; database design, T-SQL, stored procedures, and views
Experience in data warehouse design and development
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
Experience with data warehousing / Business Intelligence
Ability
to perform testing of applications, facilitate testing by others,
document results and facilitate efforts to uncover and fix issues found
during testing.
