Job description:
  • Web Based development experience using Oracle Application Express
  • Experience working with Oracle versions 10g and 11g in a UNIX environment
  • Experience with PL/SQL , JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, REST API, etc.
  • Experience in Healthcare Industry
  • Experience in Implementing data models and database designs
  • Excellent problem solving skills, communication and demonstrated teamwork/collaborative skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing database maintenance functions. Move, rebuild, or change database objects as required in production.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Develop Oracle Application Express solutions to enhance the usability and adoption of the Analytics and Reporting Central application.
  • Develop Oracle Application Express solutions to enhance the usability and adoption of the Analytics and Reporting Central application.
  • Develop solutions using APEX features (PL/SQL, Javascript, CSS, JQuery, AJAX, REST API, etc.)
  • Conduct unit testing and participate with system testing as required,  Fill out required documentation such as installation instructions and follow Cigna standards and procedures.
  • Anticipate customer’s analytic needs and proactively conceptualize and champion high-value solutions.
  • Participate/Assist with deployments to all environments including Production (which could occur after hours).
    New development and support task responsibilities as assigned.

Technical  / Functional Skills:
  • Strong working experience in  Oracle Application Express APEX  to develop and deploy professional applications that are both fast and secure.
  • Good knowledge in PL/SQL Store procedures, Oracle 11g, SAS, Good Healthcare Domain knowledge .
     
Education:
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering
