Java/Perl Developer

Responsibilities 
Supporting a large scale data migration/ big data transformation project from Oracle to Hadoop.
Work with system architect to determine requirements 
 Coding in Java/Perl
Shell scripting
Utilize CVS for version control
Multi-threading

·         Extensive experience in programming within Perl – Java
·         Oracle & Relational Database back end development experience is a big plus
·         Writing collections between TPIM and Hadoop (NO HADOOP EXPERIENCE NECESSARY)
·         Experience multi-threading in Perl
·         Experience in signal handling
·         Experience in Unix and RedHat Linux
·         Experience Shell Scripting
·         Experience working in a data migration a plus
